Add HVAC Versatility With Mini Split Heat Pumps

Do you have hot or cold spots in one or more rooms? Uneven heating and cooling is one of the most common complaints we hear at Masters Heating & Cooling.

If that’s the case in your home, then you need to call and talk to us about ductless mini split heat pumps.

They can add cooling or heating to a particular location in your home without having to add any ductwork.

They are easily one of the best solutions because you can have as many as four indoor air handlers connected to one outdoor condenser. Each one of those indoor units can be set to a different temperature (also known as “zoning”) allowing for a great deal of personal preference.

There is also the ease of installation. Because mini splits don’t require ductwork, all that’s needed is a three-inch hole to connect the air handler to the outside condenser. And the outdoor unit can be hidden behind the house up to 50-feet away.

A ductless system is also a more efficient system because it delivers the heated or cooled air directly to the living area. A typical central HVAC system can lose as much as 30% of its heating and cooling capacity as the air moves through the ducts.

The mini splits may be the most versatile systems, good for any type of project. In new construction, it’s a great companion to in-floor radiant heating because you can cool the house without adding expensive ductwork.

A ductless mini split system is a fantastic way to heat and cool areas not connected to your current central system. You can use mini splits in that garage, attic, or basement room you’re turning into a living space.

As with all of your heating and cooling choices, we at Masters Heating & Cooling can help you make the right decision for your particular situation.
