It’s Not If—it’s When
No matter what type or brand of heating system you use, chances are good it will stop working at some point and repairs will be needed. And you know all about Murphy’s Law, when the breakdown happens it will be at the most inopportune time. The coldest day of the year, or maybe when you are hosting a big family gathering. Rest assured Masters is always available 24/7 for emergency repairs.
An Ounce Of Prevention
The best way to avoid costly furnace repairs is regular maintenance. It allows us to locate potential problems before a breakdown occurs. The charge for the maintenance visit will look pretty small compared to having to call for emergency service on a weekend or holiday.
We Service All Types & Brands
When it comes to furnace repairs, the professionally trained technicians at Masters Heating & Cooling are well versed in diagnosing and fixing any and all brands. Natural gas furnaces are far and away the most popular, but many of the same principles apply to oil fired furnaces.
Before You Call
In the event you do have furnace problems, there are some commonsense things you can do before calling in the professionals:
- Check the thermostat battery. A dead battery can cause it to stop working. It’s a good idea to just change the batteries at least once a year.
- Open the thermostat to gently blow any dust or debris that could be causing it to malfunction.
- If you have an electronic or programmable thermostat, make sure the date and time is correct. The furnace could be on a timer.
- Make sure to check the circuit breakers for the furnace and/or air handler. Reset the breaker if it’s tripped. If it trips again, you’re probably going to need professional help.
